# Overview

> What FinanzDash is and what it does

FinanzDash is a platform for tax advisory and auditing firms that centrally visualizes and analyzes their clients' financial data and delivers it as interactive dashboards and AI-generated reports.

## What FinanzDash offers

* **Dashboards** – Interactive, customizable dashboards with KPI tiles, P\&L charts, bank balance widgets, working capital charts, and year-over-year comparisons
* **Company management** – Create and edit client companies and assign them to users
* **User management** – Invite users, assign roles, and control access
* **Data sources** – Upload financial data as a file (DATEV, BMD, other) or retrieve it automatically via the DATEV interface
* **AI reports** – Create and publish financial reports powered by AI language models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google)
* **DATEV integration** – OAuth connection to the DATEV API to automatically retrieve trial balances

## Who FinanzDash is for

FinanzDash is used by two groups of users:

1. **Firm employees** (administrators and super administrators) – manage companies, users, data, and reports
2. **Client users** – have read-only access to the dashboards their firm has set up for them
