FinanzDash uses email and password sign-in. This page explains every step from your first sign-in through resetting your password.

Sign in

  1. Open FinanzDash in your browser
  2. Enter your email address and password
  3. Click “Sign in”
After a successful sign-in, you see either the dashboard view or the administration interface, depending on your role.

Account lockout

After several failed sign-in attempts, your account is temporarily locked. You then see a countdown that shows how long you have to wait before you can try again. This feature protects against unauthorized access attempts.

Set up your password (first sign-in)

When an administrator invites you to FinanzDash, you receive a welcome email with a link to set up your password.
  1. Open the email and click the link
  2. You are taken to a page where you can set a new password
  3. Your password must be at least 12 characters long
  4. After saving, you can sign in with your email and password

Reset your password

If you have forgotten your password:
  1. Click “Forgot password?” on the sign-in page
  2. Enter your email address
  3. You receive an email with a reset link
  4. Click the link and set a new password

Change language

FinanzDash is available in German and English. You can switch languages using the language switcher at the top right of the sidebar. The setting is saved for your user account.

Session monitoring

FinanzDash monitors your session for inactivity. If you are inactive for a longer period, you are warned and can extend the session. If inactivity continues, you are signed out automatically.
